Welcome to the NASA-SE event @ Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP). You’ll see specific instructions below for your run group.
REGISTRATION
Hours are Thursday 6pm-7:30pm, Friday 7am-7pm. Please be prepared to show your NASA current membership card and valid state drivers license at registration located at the Registration + Tech + Driver Info area (Tech Pavilion) in the paddock near the garages. See paddock map for details.
EVENT TECH
Hours are Thursday 6pm-7:30pm, Friday 7am-7pm at the Registration + Tech + Driver Info area (Tech Pavilion) in the paddock near the garages, make sure you bring your completed Pre-Tech Form! Blank Pre-tech forms will be available for a $1 donation to charity.
FOOD VENDORS
Vendors will be open Friday 7am-7pm.
GATE HOURS
The Gate will be open Thursday 6pm and closing Sunday 6pm.
Friday: HPDE 2, 3, & 4
HPDE Tech
Tech will be handing out grid decals for all drivers who are participating in HPDE sessions. You’ll need to bring your helmet, your car and a completed HPDE tech form to Tech to get your grid decal. You will be playing by HPDE 3 rules – ie. “Passing with a Point By” except for vehicles displaying a yellow “4” on the back of their car, you do not need to wait for a Point By from them, but please pass them smartly & safely.
Wristbands
You will report to registration at the Tech Pavilion in the paddock. See the paddock map for details. You must show your state Driver’s license and your NASA membership card to get your wristband.

Instructors
You MUST report to the Instructor’s Meeting after the All Hands Meeting to get your wristband and student assignment for the day.
Friday: Test & Tune
HPDE or Annual Tech
Tech will be handing out grid decals for all drivers who are participating in HPDE sessions. Any vehicle with an Racing or Time Trial annual decal does not need an HPDE decal. Test & Tune is open passing similar to a Racing or Time Trial session on track over the weekend. Point By’s are not required but highly recommended so the overtaking driver knows you see them and which side you prefer to be passed on.
Wristbands
You will report to registration at the Tech Pavilion in the paddock. See the paddock map for details. You must show your state Driver’s license, Time Trial or Racing License and your NASA membership card to get your wristband.

Friday: Competition License School
Annual Tech
Tech will be handing out annual tech decals for all drivers who are participating in Comp School sessions. You would be driving in Test & Tune Sessions. Test & Tune is open passing similar to a Racing sessions on track over the weekend. Point By’s are not required but highly recommended so the overtaking driver knows you see them and which side you prefer to be passed on.

Friday: Instructor Clinic
HPDE Tech
Tech will be handing out HPDE tech decals for all drivers who are participating in Instructor Clinic sessions. You would be driving in HPDE Sessions. Point By’s are required so the overtaking driver knows you see them and which side you prefer to be passed on. Please be courteous and let the other drivers by as you perform the Instructor simulation scenarios.
